In this talk, I explore ‘Both Sides of the Conversation’, introducing the concept of the Double Empathy Problem (Milton, 2012) and how understanding communication as a two-way process can transform the way we support autistic learners.

In my article for The British Psychological society’s The Psychologist, I discuss how support for autistic graduates disappears of a ‘cliff-edge’ and make recommendations for support and accommodations for autistic graduates in employment.
